XMSN CHIP DETECTOR INOP CAME ON TWICE IN FLIGHT AND WENT OUT BEFORE LANDING, DURING RETURN LEG TO BASE, AFTER HALFWAY POINT. INSPECTED LH TRANSMISSION CHIP DETECTOR, VERIFIED CONDITION AND SECURITY. COULD NOT DUPLICATE.
