PDX FLIGHT NR 2227 - FA UNABLE TO HEAR COMMUNICATION FROM FLIGHT DECK.  CAPTAIN AND FO PA WORK OK.  FLIGHT DECK ABLE TO HEAR FA.  MAINTENANCE REPLACED FA HANDLE ASSEMBLY.  OPERATIONAL TEST GOOD.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
