PASSENGER SMELLED SMOKE IN BACK OF CABIN. AIRCRAFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE. PERFORMED GVI OF AFT CABIN AREA AND GALLEY. NO SMELLS NOTED, SUSPECT SMELL WAS FROM TAXING AIRCRAFT NEARBY, NO OTHER DEFECTS NOTED. COULD NOT DUPLICATE. RETURNED TO SERVICE. NO PARTS REPLACED.
