OUTBOARD COFFEE MAKER IN FWD GALLEY BEGIN TO SMOKE UPON INITIAL UTILIZATION. NO PASSENGERS ON BOARD AT THE TIME. REMOVED FROM SERVICE. MAINTENANCE PERFORMED AN INSPECTION AND COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY OR SMOKE. PLACED THE COFFEE MAKER ON DMI. RETURNED TO SERVICE.
