## Discrepancy

FLIGHT 2459. HOT PLASTIC SMELL WHILE APU WAS RUNNING. ROWS 1-6 STRONGEST SMELL. OPENED UP ALL GASPERS. ODOR DISSIPATED AFTER GASPERS OPENED & TEMPERATURE IN CABIN REACHED 18 DEGREES C, WHERE THE THERMOSTAT TEMPERATURES WERE SET TO. REMOVED FROM SERVICE. PERFORMED APU SHUTDOWN AND WAITED 5 MINUTES WITH CREW. PERFORMED NORMAL APU STARTUP & PACKS, THEN WALKED THE LENGTH OF CABIN WITH CREW. NO ODORS NOTED. SUSPECT INITIAL HOT AIR SMELL FROM VENTS DUE TO MAJORITY OF GASPERS CLOSED. NO HISTORY 30 DAYS. A/C OKAY FOR CONTINUED SERVICE. COULD NOT DUPLICATE. NO PARTS REPLACED.
