R1 ARMING LEVER REQUIRES EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FORCE FOR MOVEMENT UP/DOWN. REMOVED FROM SERVICE. OPENED DOOR, CLEANED DEBRIS AROUND GIRT BAR FLOOR FITTINGS.  CLOSED DOOR AND C/W INTERNAL MAINT HANDLE DOOR FUNCTIONAL CHECK IAW AMM 52-41-20-720-801-A, SUBTASK 52-41-20-863-002-A.  FORCE CHECK GOOD.  FORCE REQUIRED WELL BELOW MAXIMUM.  RETURNED TO SERVICE. NO PARTS REPLACED.
