## Discrepancy

LT FLAP FAILURE 41 INCHES OUTBOARD OF INBOARD END.  FLAP WAS IAW SB.  WHICH STRENGTHENS FLAP FOR LANDING IN HEAVY WATER/ SLUSH CONDITIONS.  AIRCRAFT ARRIVED WITH HEAVY PRECIP PRIOR TO LANDING.
