CREW RECEIVED AN L1 DOOR OPEN INDICATION.  AN EMERGENCY WAS NOT DECLARED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED FORWARD PASSENGER DOOR WARNING PROXIMITY SENSOR IAW AMM AND OPS CHECKED GOOD.
