AFTER STARTING E1, WITH THE APU ON, THE AFT FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTED THE SMELL OF SMOKE ORIGINATING FROM THE AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT. RAN E1. INSPECTED AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT AND AFT CABIN FOR SMELL.  NO SMELL OR SMOKE PRESENT.
