SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF, FA AND PASSENGERS NOTED SMOKE SMELL IN THE AFT GALLEY. NO VISIBLE SMOKE OR EICAS MESSAGES. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FIELD. PERFORMED ENGINE RUNS IAW AMM 36-11-00 OPS CHECK GOOD ALL SYSTEMS, CANNOT DUPLICATE.
