## Discrepancy

DURING CLIMB FLIGHT CREW GOT A PITCH TRIM MAIN AND BACKUP FAIL MESSAGE ON EICAS.  CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO IAD.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND REMOVED AND REPLACED THE HORZ STAB ACTUATOR.  SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD.
