LANDING GEAR AIR GROUND FAIL EICAS AFTER TAKEOFF, GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT, RETURNED TO BLOCK.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND FOUND LOOSE CONNECTOR ON NLG WOW PROXIMITY  SWITCH, CLEANED AND RESECURED CONNECTOR, PERFORMED RETRACT OPS CHECK, OPS CHECK GOOD.
