NLG DOOR MESSAGE IN FLIGHT, PERFORMED QRH.  AIR RETURN.   TROUBLE SHOT NLG DOOR WARNING SYSTEM IAW WDM 32-61-00, FOUND LT NOSE DOOR PROXIMITY SENSOR BAD. R & R SENSOR IAW WDM 32-61-00. OPS CHECKED GOOD.
