STEERING DISCONNECTED DURING TAXI IN.  ABRUPTLY STOPPED & SHOOK ACFT,  ENGAGED FINE. PERFORMED OPS CHECK OF NOSE WHEEL STEERING IAW AMM 32-51-00.  NO FAULTS NOTED.  DID NOT DISCONNECT.  ACFT OK FOR SERVICE.
