## Discrepancy

FWD EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHT DS52 INOPERATIVE.  DEFERRING FWD EXTERIOR EMERGENCY LIGHT DS52 IAW MEL 33-51-2A PLACARD INSTALLED MM02.   MX PROCEDURES COMPLIED WITH.  LIGHT DS52 POPS BATTERY CHARGER FUSE AFTER A FEW SECONDS, NO SHORT FOUND ON LIGHT ASSY. SCHEMATIC SHOWS EXT LIGHT POWERED FROM PS36P1-10, ACFT WIRING SHOWS LIGHT WIRED TO PIN 11. IAW SSM 33-50-00, WM 33-21-03, 25-28-01. REPLACED BATTERY CHARGER IAW AMM 33-51-17.  C/W WIRING CHECKS IAW ESPM 20-12-01. FOUND NO VOLTS AT DS52P1 PIN 1. FOUND AN OPEN CIRCUIT BTWN DS52P1 PIN 1 & PS36P1 PIN 10. MEL 4183873-2 REQ'S FURTHER T/S & REMAINS OPEN. FOUND FUSE BLOWN ON PS36 CHARGER, R & R PS36 CHARGER & BATTERY PACK IAW AMM 33-51-17. OPS CK GOOD.
