## Discrepancy

ON TAKEOFF, THERE WAS A LOUD BANG AND ECAM WARNING INDICATED EGT OVERTEMP ON NR 2 ENGINE.  ECAM PROCEDURES FOLLOWED AND EMERGENCY DECLARED.  AIRCAFT RETURNED, AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.
