FLIGHT 5011 FROM CLT TO LEX, DURING PREFLIGHT THE AIRCREW REPORTED THE OVERHEAD EMERGENCY LIGHTS INOP. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED BULBS AND SYSTEM OPS CHECKED GOOD. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
