CLT - FLT 5136 - SMELL OF SMOKE IN COCKPIT, INDICATION OF BOTH MAIN AND AUX BATTERIES BEING HOT (SUSPECT BAD SENSOR FPR INDICATION CREW MADE INSPECTION OF BATTERIES WERE NOT HOT).  REMOVED AND REPLACED BATTERY TEMP MONITOR.  OPS CHECKED GOOD.  (M)
