DURING HEAVY MAINTENANCE CHECK, AFT SECTION OF FORWARD LEFT ESCAPE PATH LIGHTING WAS FOUND INOPERATIVE.  REMOVED AND REPLACED LIGHT BATTERY PACK AND CHARGER ASSEMBLY IAW B727 MM 335051.  OPS CHECK GOOD IAW B727 MM 335001.
