PITCH TRIM MAIN INOP WARNING MESSAGE, RETURNED TO DFW.  REMOVED AND REPLACED HORIZONTAL STABILIZER CONTROL UNIT IAW EMB AMM 27-40-01.  OPERATIONAL CHECKED GOOD, PERFORMED FUNCTIONAL CHECK FLIGHT WITH NO DEFECTS.  RETURNED AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE.
