DURING MX INSPECTION, FOUND THE CAPTAIN’S FLASHLIGHT, RED LED TO CHARGING STATUS INOPERATIVE.  ACFT REMOVED FROM SERVICE.  R & R CAPTAIN’S FLASHLIGHT BATTERY IAW STANDARD PRACTICES.  OPS CHECKED GOOD.  ACFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
