GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT AFTER TAKEOFF DVRTS TO MIA LANDED OVR WEIGHT BY 800LBS RAN CHECKLIST AND LANDED. EMERGENCY DECLARED.  PERFORMED LANDING GEAR EXTENSION AND RETRACTION SYSTEM TEST IAW AMM MPP 32-33-00.  OPC GOOD. REF NRWC 764-MIA-03032-1 FOR WORK PERFORMED.
