AFT LAVATORY FIRE- SMOKE WARNING SOUNDED ONCE INTERMITTENTLY ON CAPTAIN`S SIDE OF ACFT.  PAX WAS IN LAVATORY BUT NO EVIDENCE OF SMOKING.  R & R THE LAVATORY SMOKE DETECTOR IAW AMM 26-14-01.  OPS CHKD GOOD.
