FOUND FWD CABIN EMERGENCY FLASHLIGHT; WHICH IS IN AREA OF REPORTED SMOKE SMELL; EMANATING A STRONG ODOR MATCHING REPORTS. REMOVED BATTERY FROM FLASHLIGHT. OK TO CONTINUE PER MEL 25-12-01 SP 1B AUTH 313700;[02] REMOVED AND REPLACED; FLASHLIGHT AND BATTERY PACK IN REF AMM 25-64-00. OPS CHECK GOOD.
