ESSENTIAL TRU 1 FAILED ON CLIMBOUT.  PERFORMED QRH PROCEDURE.  RETURNED TO AIRPORT.  REMOVED & REPLACED ESSENTIAL TRU 1 AND NR 1 ESS TRU SHUNT.  OPS CHECKS GOOD.
