ON TAKEOFF THE CAPTAIN'S AUDIO PANEL FAILED.  RETURNED TO LAX.  REPLACED CAPTAIN'S AUDIO PANEL WITH SERVICEABLE UNIT.  OPS CHECK GOOD.
