FLAPS FAIL MESSAGE CAME ON AFTER TAKEOFF WHEN SELECTING FLAPS 0 TO FLAPS 8.  RETURNED TO SLC.  REPLACED FLAP CONTROL HANDLE IAW 27-51-01.  OPS CHECK GOOD.
