A/P FAILED DURING FLIGHT.  A/P FAIL ON MAP AND MASTER WARNING.  FOLLOWED QRH.  A/P WOULD NOT TRANSFER.  REPAIRED WIRE ON CAPTAIN'S TRANSFER SWITCH IAW 22-10-11.  OPS CHECKS GOOD.
