R 14TH DUCT WARNING DURING CLIMB OUT. RAN QRH, MESSAGE DID NOT CLEAR AFTER 40 SECONDS. DURING RETURN TO FIELD, MESSAGE DID CLEAR AFTER 3 1/2 MINS.  (FLIGHT 5891) ON ARRIVAL, PERFORMED GVI OF 14TH STAGE BLEED-AIR DUCTING IAW AMM 36-12-04.  NO DEFECTS OR DAMAGE FOUND. TROUBLESHOT R 14TH DUCT WARNING IAW FIM 36-20-00.  ON R BLEED-LEAK CONTROL UNIT 2A1WK CHECKED CONTINUITY BTWN PINS 23 & 38 ON PLUG 2P1WK. POSITIVE CONTINUITY BTWN PINS 23 & 38.  CHKD RESISTANCE FOR PIN 23 TO GROUND & PIN 38 TO GROUND ON PLUG 2P1WK. RESISTANCE FOR BOTH PINS 35 OHMS. R & R PYLON DUCT SENSING LOOP A58WK IAW AMM 36-21-04, OPS CHKD GOOD.  DURING REPLACEMENT OF SENSING LOOP, RAN ENG & PERFORMED LEAK CHK OF  R 14TH STAGE DUCTS IAW AMM 71-00-00, NO LEAKS. PERFORMED HIGH POWER ENG RUN IAW 71-00-00. R 14TH DUCT WARNING MSG DID NOT POPULATE.
