UPON REMOVAL ON, FOUND LT ELEVATOR LE HINGE FITTING ASSY  TO HAVE PITTING CORROSION IN BEARING BORES ON BOTH HINGE HALVES REPLACE HINGE FITTING ASSY.  INSTALLED 1 EA NEW LE HINGE FITTING ASSY  ON LT ELEVATOR  IAW DWG 601R24025, REV-G, SRM 51-42-06, AND SRM 51-42-21.
