FWD SERVICE DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE FITTING ASSEMBLY FLAP WILL NOT SPRING BACK UP.   REMOVED AND REPLACED FWD SERVICE DOOR ESCAPE SLIDE FITTING ASSEMBLY IAW AMM 53-23-25 OPS CHECK GOOD.
