SMOKE FUME ODOR IN FLIGHT DECK   (FLIGHT 4976) CORRECTIVE ACTION REPORTED SMOKE/FUME SMELL IN FLIGHT DECK WAS TROUBLESHOOT IAW FIM 21-21-00 AND 79-30-00. VERIFIED NO VISIBLE SMOKE PRESENT, ODOR ONLY, & NO 30 DAY HISTORY. REF CP 32864233 FOR PRESSURIZATION CHECK. NO DEFECTS FOUND, CP 32867131 FOR BORESCOPE OF A SUMPS, BOTH ENGINES. NO LEAKS FOUND. FOUND CELING AND SIDEWALL LIGHT BALLASTS AT ROW 3A TO BE THE SOURCE OF ODOR. REF CP 32867666 AND CP 32867976 FOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF BALLASTS. NO SMOKE ODOR PRESENT. ACFT OKAY FOR SERVICE.
