## Discrepancy

SPARKS COMING FROM BEHIND CAPTAIN`S CHART LIGHT HOLDER.  DURING STALL TEST THERE WAS VISIBLE ARCING WITH SMOKE. MEL 25-18-2 CAT: D DUE DATE: 23 DEC 2026.  (FLIGHT 6466)  DEFERRED CAPTAIN`S SIDE CHART HOLDER/LIGHT ASSY IAW MEL 25-18-2,  MX ACTION COMPLIED WITH. PLACARD INSTALLED.   TOUBLESHOT SPARKS COMING FROM BEHIND CA CHART LIGHT HOLDER & FOUND ONE OF THE WIRES LEADING TO THE LIGHT ASSY TO BE NICKED AND BLACK. REMOVED AND REPLACED WIRE BEHIND CHART HOLDER IAW ESPM 20-12-00. OPS CHECK GOOD. PERFOMED STALL PROTECTION SYSTEM TEST IAW AMM 27-35-01. NO ARCING OR SMOKING FOUND BEHIND CHART HOLDER AT THIS TIME. CLEARS MEL 25-18-2.  PLACARDS REMOVED.
