OBO GEAR INDICATION SYSTEM IS INOP.  FLEW PAST TOWER TO CONFIRM GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED.  MEL 32-60-1.  REMOVED AND REPLACED LANDING GEAR CONTROL LEVER IAW MM 32-31-00, OPS CHECKS GOOD.
