WEATHER RADAR INOP IN FLIGHT.  PAINTS 2-3 BANDS ACROSS DISPLAY IN 10-25 MILE RANGE.  RETURNED TO SLC.  TESTED RADAR.  WEATHER AND MAP CHECKS GOOD.  NO BANDS IN DISPLAY.
