SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF HAD AN ELECTRIC TRIM FAILURE.  CONTINUED TO LAX.  ELECTRIC TRIM SYSTEM OPS CHECK GOOD.  COULD NOT DUPLICATE DISCREPANCY.
