LAX - FLT 849 - DURING CRUISE AISLE SERVING CART EMITTED SMOKE.  DISCONNECTED SERVING CART.  FOUND MALFUNCTIONING HEATING PADS IN SERVING CART, MFG P/N 953000-119.  REPLACED AISLE SERVING CART.  SERVING CART OPERATION THEN CHECKED NORMAL. (M)
