FWD EQUIP VAL EICAS.  FOUND OVERBOARD EXHAUST VALVE NOT CLOSING. SECURED VALVE IN CLOSED POSITION IAW MEL. REPLACED OVERBOARD EXHAUST VALVE IAW AMM, OPS CK GOOD.
