LEFT BACKUP GENERATOR IS OFF OR HAS FAILED.  ELECTRICAL BACKUP GENERATOR LT EICAS MESSAGE.  ATTEMPTED RESET.  MESSAGE RE-APPEARED.  REPLACED BUG CONVERTER PER MM.  NO FAULT NOTED.
