DURING REPOSITIONING OF AIRCRAFT FROM REMOTE STAND TO DEPARTURE GATE FOUND CAPT SPEAKER NOT WORKING.  DEFERRED CAPT'S SPEAKER IAW MEL 2351D.  PLACARD INSTALLED.  CAPT'S FLIGHT INTERPHONE SPEAKER IAW AMM, OPS CHECKS NORMAL.
