DESCENDING ACFT ABRUPTLY PITCHED UP & STARTED TO CLIMB ON AUTOPILOT.  DISCONNECT AUTOPILOT & RE-ENGAGED LATER & OPERATIONS WERE NORMAL.  VERIFIED NO CMC ACTIVE FAULTS.  PERFORMED AUTO LAND UNIQUE TEST & PASSED IAW AMM 27-00-00.
