PRIOR TO ENG START, APU FIRE LP 1 STATUS MSG.   C/W OPS TEST OF APU FIRE DETECTOR LOOP IAW AMM 26-15-02. ALSO, INSPECTED ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND PIN. FOUND NO ISSUES, OPS CHECK GOOD.
