CREW REPORTED SLAT FAULT STATUS MESSAGE IN FLIGHT.  CREW DIVERTED AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.  MAINTENANCE TROUBLESHOT, FOUND PULLED WIRE ON SENSOR SPLICE, R & R SPLICE AND PINS, RESET BOTH LT OTBD SLAT ACTUATORS AND PERFORMED CHECKS IAW AMM. AIRCRAFT RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
