CREW REPORTED BURNING SMELL IN F/A JUMPSEAT AREA, POSSIBLY COMING FROM INTERPHONE. CREW ALSO REPORTED ODOR DISSIPATED AND FORWARD INTERPHONE ONLY WORKS INTERMITTENTLY.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED, R & R F/A INTERPHONE HANDSET AND PERFORMED CHECKS IAW AMM.  ACFT RELEASED FOR SERVICE.
