## Discrepancy

DURING TAXI, THE LEFT HAND PROPELLER OVERSPEED TEST FAILED TO OPERATE WHEN SELECTED.  THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND CLEANED THE OVERSPEED GOVERNOR CANNON PLUG.  MAINTENANCE THEN PERFORMED OPERATIONAL CHECKS IN ACCORDANCE WITH DORNIER MAINTENANCE MANUAL 71-01-00.  THE CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY, AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
