IAD-JFK - FLT 6577 - ABORTED TAKEOFF DUE TO NR 1 ENGINE WOULD ONLY MAKE 85 PERCENT TORQUE ON TAKEOFF ROLL.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO GATE WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND ADJUSTED EGT RESERVE AND MAX POWER, OPS CHECK OK.  AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED AND APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.  (M)
