FLT 6379 - IAD-SYR - ABORTED TAKEOFF DUE TO LEFT ENGINE WOULD NOT MAKE TAKEOFF TORQUE.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO GATE WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND ADJUSTED LEFT TORQUE SIGNAL CONDITIONER AND GROUND RAN AIRCRAFT, OPS CHECK OK.  AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED AND APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE.  (M)
