FLT 7214 - IAD-HPN - DURING CRUISE, AIRCRAFT MADE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING DUE TO DOOR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED.  AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE WITH NO FURTHER PROBLEMS.  MAINTENANCE INSPECTED AND ADJUSTED PASSENGER DOOR MICROSWITCH, OPS CHECK OK.  AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED AND RETURNED TO SERVICE.  (M)
