AFTER DEPARTURE RECEIVED BATTERY NR 2 OVERTEMP (RED) ON EICAS.  PERFORMED QRH AND LANDED BACK IN IAD.  BATTERY REMOVED AND REPLACED PER AMM 24-36-01-04, OPS CHECK OK.
