THE CREW DECLARED AND EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO CHS, THE LANDING WAS UNEVENTFUL &  ACFT TAXIED TO THE GATE UNDER POWER.  REMOVED FROM SERVICE.   R & R NR 1 ENGINE EDP I.A.W AMP J29-11-01. OPS AND LEAKS CHECKS GOOD.MX IN CHS ALSO R & R BOTH CASE DRAIN FILTER IAW AMP J29-11-46, OPS AND LEAKS CHECKS GOOD.A/C OK FOR SERVICE.TOTAL OOS HOURS  41 HOURS  12 MINUTES SVC CHK IN COMPLIANCE. SYS OPS.
